Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, is a time of reflection, spiritual growth, and charity. It is during this blessed month that Muslims around the world engage in acts of worship, self-discipline, and generosity. Donating in Ramadan holds special significance as it allows us to multiply the rewards of our deeds and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.

Abdullah Aid focus on medical care, shelter, water access, empowerment initiatives, and more. We strives to enhance lives and foster resilience.

We facilitate contributions for Fidyah, Kaffarah, ensuring that those unable to fulfil religious obligations due to illness or other circumstances can still observe their faith.

  • Fidyah (£5 per fast) - This is a compensation for missing a fast due to illness or any other valid reason and the fast cannot be made up in the future.
  • Kaffarah (£300 per fast) -This is a major compensation for intentionally breaking a fast without a valid excuse. To atone for an intentionally broken fast, you must fast continuously for 60 days. If you are unable to do that, then you have to feed 60 poor people.
  • Sadaqatul Fitr (£5/person) - This is a charity due by every Muslim who holds the value of Nisaab. This is to be given before Eid Salaah (Preferably in advance of Eid day) so that it reaches the poor before Eid Salaah. Sadaqatul Fitr will need to be given on behalf of your children.
